Abstract

This study is entitled: “The Quranic Style through Similarity and Contrast

between Word Denotation and Meanings from Educational Perspective".

It handled the story of Adam’s creation (peace be upon him) and the role

of Satan in it as cited in seven verses of the Holy Quran in Surat Albaqara,

Al- A’raf, Al- Hijr, Al- Isra’, Al- Kahf, Taha, and Surat Saad.

The study aims at analyzing the above mentioned verses in the seven

Soras in order to identify the denotations and meanings of words similar in

form, and infer the similarity and contrast in denotation and meaning through

comparison, analysis and induction, and eventually arrive at deducing the

various Quranic styles used in narrating the story of Adam (PBUH) and

Satan. Consequently, it aims to infer the educational styles derived from the

Quranic style and highlight the findings related to the study questions and

objectives. The study includes an introduction, three themes, as well as a

conclusion and number of recommendations. The researcher has used the

descriptive, analytical, and inductive methodology to find an answer for the

three research questions in this study.
