Problems Facing Administrators of Kindergartens in the City of Mafraq from the Viewpoint of Its Directors and Teachers

The study aimed at identifying the problems facing administrators of kindergartens in the city of Mafraq from the viewpoint of their directors and teachers in Jordan. The study sample consisted of 20 directors and 80 teachers who work in kindergartens in the governorate of Mafraq in Jordan. The sample was chosen randomly from the study population. A questionnaire was distributed on the sample which tackled different problems related to administration, infrastructure, equipment, teaching aids, children, finance, and parents. The results showed there was a high level of problems facing kindergartens from the viewpoint of their directors and teachers in the city of Mafraq. The results also showed that in general there were no statistically significant differences in the problems facing kindergartens from the viewpoint of their directors and teachers in the city of Mafraq due to the variables of years of experience, academic qualifications, and job title. The researcher recommends the need for having effective management of kindergartens when equipping the building and facilities, in order to reach an appropriate educational environment that fosters physical and cognitive development of the child, and to increase the opportunity for the child to practice various activities in an environment characterized by security.
