An analytical study: The Degree of Human Values in the Islamic Education Textbooks of the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Grades in Jordan

The study aimed to determine the degree of observance of human values in Islamic education textbooks for the seventh, eighth, and ninth basic grades in Jordan. The study followed the descriptive-analytical approach using the content analysis card to achieve its goal. It was based on an analysis of Islamic education books for the seventh, eighth, and ninth grades for the academic year 2021-2022 AD. It relied on the Qur’anic verses, the Prophet’s hadith, and the clear text. The researcher prepared a list of human values as a tool for study. There are 95 values. Its results showed that the total repetitions of human values amounted to 1085 times, and the books most interested in human values were the ninth-grade textbook, as the repetitions amounted to 465 times, followed by the seventh grade book, with the frequencies reaching 350 times, then the eighth grade book, where the frequencies reached 270 times, and the highest of these values in all books was the value of a good role model, repeated 67 times, followed by the value of thinking, repeated 65 times, and the lowest value was humility, contentment, and manners of the road by repeating (1) once at a rate of all were in the ninth-grade book.
