Towards Visual Literacy in Arabic Language Teaching for Non- Native Speakers

This study aimed to suggest stages to understand the image as a
visual text in the reading books for non- native learners of Arabic in
order to develop visual culture for Arab non- native speakers. The
importance of the topic stems from being new in this respective field;
so the descriptive approach for research was used. The research
concludes with a set of progressive methodology stages with Arab
names the researcher coined, with names Arab, highlighting the origin
of language, and idiomatic; and procedural processes for each stage
of those proposed.
