Israeli violations and Resilience of Palestinians: The Palestinian Memory
Keywords:
Israeli violations, resilience of Palestinians, Palestinian memoryAbstract
Oral history has an important role provided that it is in accordance
with the scientific method approved. After the defeat of 1948, the Palestinian
people have been emigrated and so the land and identity have been lost.
This was documented by confident eye-witnesses who witnessed the Zionist
massacres that led to the emigration.
As for the Jews who left Arab countries, they came either by their own
will or being planned by Zionist gangs.
The United Nations Organization adopted several resolutions for the
return of refugees and compensation for them, particularly Resolution
“194”, but Israel struck by the way side.
Hence, the attitude of the Palestinian refugees was to cling with their
right to return to their home country and to refuse resettlement.
