Psychological Alienation and Its Impact on the Academic Achievement of Secondary School Students in Lower Galilee

This study aimed to find out the level of psychological alienation and
its impact on the academic achievement responsibility among the secondary
school students in Lower Galilee. The sample of the study consisted of (480)
secondary school students. To achieve the aim of the study, the researchers
used a psychological alienation scale and the academic achievement
responsibility scale. The findings of the study showed that the students’ level
of psychological alienation was moderate, and the students’ responsibility
tended to the internal. On the other hand, the results indicated that there
were negative significant differences on students’ academic achievement
responsibility at (α = 0.05) due to their level of psychological alienation,
which means that the students with a lower level of psychological alienation
tended to have more external academic achievement responsibility.
