Abstract

This study aimed to find out the level of psychological alienation and

its impact on the academic achievement responsibility among the secondary

school students in Lower Galilee. The sample of the study consisted of (480)

secondary school students. To achieve the aim of the study, the researchers

used a psychological alienation scale and the academic achievement

responsibility scale. The findings of the study showed that the students’ level

of psychological alienation was moderate, and the students’ responsibility

tended to the internal. On the other hand, the results indicated that there

were negative significant differences on students’ academic achievement

responsibility at (α = 0.05) due to their level of psychological alienation,

which means that the students with a lower level of psychological alienation

tended to have more external academic achievement responsibility.
