Keywords:
Ethical Leadership, School Principals, Public Schools Teachers, JerusalemAbstract
This study was aimed at determining the government schools teachers’
assessment of the degree of principals’ practice of ethical leadership. It was
undertaken during the 2009/ 2010 academic year. A 52- item questionnaire
covering three fields was distributed to a 339- teacher random sample after
having determined its validity and reliability. Results showed that teachers
estimated their principals’ practice of ethical leadership at a high degree.
Besides, results showed that there were significant differences in teachers’
responses due to gender, in favor of male teachers, whereas differences in
their responses were not statically significant with regard to qualification,
experience, stage, and directorate.
