Abstract

This research is marked by “The Rhythmic Engineering of prisons

poets in Abbasi Regime’. It’s an attempt to shed light on the two rhythmic

levels; external represented by metre and rhyme which reflect the psychological

status of the poet and the environment of the poem. The internal

level is formulated through the vocal, on ness and structural levels all of

which have composed the symphony of the internal rhythm in prisons’ poetry.

It is the repetition of the single sound in the one verse that constitutes

the central never which relates the sound rhythm with the poets’ idea and

his feelings.
