The research atlemts to identily sheikh Mustafa Albakri Asedeeki
Ademeshqi Almaqdesi, one of the Key religious figures in the Ottoman period.
He is the leader of the sufi solitude method (Alkhalwatiya) who helped to
promote this method in many Arab and Islamic countries following the
Ottoman empire especially Palestine and Jerusalem Although Sheikh Bakri
enjoyed extensive jame at his time yet unfortunately until now he has not
received the attention he deserves of studies that demonstrate his character,
his scientilic achievements and his effective role in the religious, Social and
intellectual life in the Ottoman period which is anera that is still mysterious
in many aspects and needs more study.
The importance of the study lies in this respect as it portrays the
character of sheikh bakri; his writing which the researcher collected from
many resources and classified in tables according to its topics.
The researcher identilied these writings giving information about
their locations to make it easy for researchs to refer to them for study and
analysis.
