Abstract

The subject of this research is the intellectual movement in Jerusalem after

the demise of the Crusader occupation of 583 (Ayyubid). The during discussed

the prosperity of the scientific movement in Jerusalem study the state

of saladin, and explained his efforts and their role in the intellectual movement.

These efforts included encouraging science, and scientists, building

schools, corners, and Alpemmarstanat (hospitals), to be a forum for science

and scientists.

It also discussed the role of books in the intellectual movement in Jerusalem.

It talked about books in Dar Al-Aqsa mosque, and subjected to these books

from corruption , loss and theft, for a lot of books and manuscripts Precious
