The Algerian revolution represented a turning point in the life of the
Algerian people particularly and the Arab nations generally in addition to all
other world nations seeking their countries freedom and authority.
This is due to the principles and liberation human values that it contained
which made it stand as a living example in enriching the international
intellectual and political values and the human cultural heritage. All this
made the Algerian revolution gain appreciation and respect similar to the
other great international revolutions. Furthermore, what interested observers
and analysts in this revolution, in addition to its being an epic of heroism and
sacrifice, is the political straggle, that the Algerian temporary government
led against its French counterpart and its ability to obtain gains from this
battle. This guaranteed the realization of its objectives represented in getting
the French acknowledgement of the rights of the Algerian people in the
realization of their freedom and political independence. This paper tries to
follow the chapters of this battle its roots, stages, results and gains.
