Abstract

This research studies the fall of the Fatimia State in the Magrib. It

also investigates its people denunciation of the Ismaeli Shiite thought as

they preferred the Sunni doctrine as approached by Malik Bin Annas. The

researcher studies the period of the Fatamia State fall down as it has an

important role in stopping the Shiite thought which was confined to the

Magrib region.

The researcher also shows Bani Ziri , the Sinhagyin, tremendous attempts

to gain independence from the Fatimia State. They managed to achieve that

during the reign of Mua’iz Bin Badir who showed alliance to the Abbasids.

He denounces the Shiite thought and killed most of its scholars. Because of

the Fatimia State weakness, it arouse the tribes of Bani Hiala and Salim to

emigrate from Egypt to Magrib in order to attack the Zizi state.

The research sheds the light on the political, social, economic and

demographic outcomes of Bani Hilal and Saleem tribes’ immigration after

they fail to meet the Fatimia Sate expectations which result in a religious

and political separation between the Fatimia State in Egypt and the Magrib

region.
