Keywords:
Ruling on, Assassination in Islam, A Comparative Study, Islamic FiqhAbstract
This research is based on studying the subject of algelah killing
(assassination) and the positions of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqih) towards
it- in a comparative study. This research is composed of a prelude, three
topics. The prelude is devoted to the prohibition of assault on human psyche.
The first topic deals with definition of algelah killing (assassination) ; the
second tackles the fiqih adaptation for algelah killing (assassination) and the
effects following it and the third is devoted to the discussion and outweighing
of different points of view.
The research concludes that there is disagreement among scholars
(fuqaha’) in their understanding of what algelah killing means, the fiqih
adaptation for this type of killing and hence the impact following it.
