The Application of ISO 14001 at the Natural Reserves in Jordan and Its Impact on Limiting Environmental Hazards

Environmental management is a system that aims to simulate the
environmental conditions in the natural reserves with the tourism movement in
it. This is usually combined with the commitment of the tourism establishments
in these reserves to function effectively in the services offered to tourists and
work constantly to upgrade their services to satisfy the users.
This study therefore seeks to explore the preparations for ISO 14001- in
industrial tourism as case study of natural reserves in Jordan. The level of
fitness is measured with the requirements of these specification and measures.
In order to minimize the environmental risks that may exit. A questionnaire
model was used to test the hypotheses. The study resulted in a number of
valuable results, and introduced some conclusions, which became a base to
help the managers of natural resaves overcome the environmental risks. The
Study covered five sections starting with with the identification of the ISO
14001 and why they were created. Also, the opportunities of natural resaves
to improve their environmental performance were determined.
