The Degree of Application of the Administrative Operations Reengineering to Develop the Performance of the Employees Working at the Education Directorate in Amman

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the degree of applying the Business Process

Reengineering at administrative operations in developing the performance

of the employees of the education directorate of Amman 4th area. In order to

achieve the goal of this study, the researchers has developed a questionnaire

which consisted of (57) items that included 7 fields, and its validity and

consistency have been verified. Moreover, it has been applied on a sample

consisting of (150) employees working in the Education Directorate of

Amman 4th Area.

The researchers used the arithmetic means, standard deviations, and

rank and degree to identify the possibility of applying the degree of the items

of restructuring the administrative operations in developing the performance

of the employees of the education directorate of Amman 4th area; furthermore,

the analytical statistics have been applied by using the (t- test) and (One

way ANOVA) . To examine it there are differences in the degree of applying

the articles of restructuring the administrative operations in developing the

performance of the employees according to the variables: Gender, academic

qualification, work nature, and experience years.

The study has shown the following results:

♦♦ The degree of applying the Business Process Reengineering the

administrative operations in the grand total was generally medium.

♦♦ There were no differences with statistical indication between the averages

for the degree of applying the Business Process Reengineering the

administrative operations in developing the performance of the employees

of the education directorate of Amman 4th area according to the gender

variable in all fields and the total degree of the fields together.

♦♦ There were no differences with statistical indication between the averages

for the degree of applying the Business Process Reengineering the

administrative operations in developing the performance of the employees

of the education directorate of Amman 4th area according to the academic

qualification in all fields except the total degree of the fields together and

the application field if the difference was statistically indicating and in

favor of the higher studies. ♦♦ There were no differences with statistical indication between the averages

for the degree of applying the Business Process Reengineering the

administrative operations in developing the performance of the employees

of the education directorate of Amman 4th area according to the work

nature variable in all fields and the total degree of the fields together.

♦♦ There were differences with statistical indication between the averages

for the degree of applying the Business Process Reengineering the

administrative operations in developing the performance of the employees

of the education directorate of Amman 4th area according to the experience

years variable in the total degree of the fields together except the evaluation

field.

In the light of the study results, the researchers recommend the

following:

Holding training courses for the administrative employees and technicians

in the Education directorate of Amman 4th area in the field of Reengineering

the administrative operations concerning its concepts and operations.

The Ministry of Education should publicize the culture of change and

development for the employees.
