This study aimed to extrapolate the educational system of Islamic
values in the Holy Koran and the Sunna. The researcher used the integrative
approach, as one of the entrances and techniques of descriptive approach.
The results of the study identified the characteristics of the educational values
in light of Koranic and the Prophetical Hadith Al- Sharif vision as follows:
holiness, infallibility, eternity, continuity, universality, humanity, clarity,
inclusion, moderation, adaptation, flexibility, realism, consistency, divinity,
balance, perfection, consistency, positivity, harmony, integration, conserving
the life system, educating the religious interior sense, linking the values with
religion, developing awareness to the universe, and to the cultural role of
humans. The study showed that all values as a whole are religious ones. Thus
they have been arranged in groups according to homogenous educational
values as follows: values of: faith, devotion, religious, performance, work,
ethics, family, society, economics, politics, environment, law, Jihad and
aestheticism.
The results of the study showed that the main features for the educational
values are represented as goals, ends and principles that people try to achieve
as they are standards which judge their behavior. The study calls for the
integration between the religious values and the other human values since
all these values depend on the religious faith and are guided by its goals and
objectives.
