Reflections of Teachers Participating in a Training Program Based on Blended Learning and its Relation to the Teachers’ Mastery of Educational Multimedia Design and Production Skills

Abstract

This research aimed at investigating the opinions of teachers

participating in a training programme based on a blended learning model. It

examines the relationship between the training programme and the mastery

of skills related the designing and production of educational multimedia. The

research results revealed teachers’ satisfaction with the training program. It

also shows the teachers’ mastery for the skills they have been trained on. One

hundred volunteer teachers were trained. Three tools were used to collect

data: a questionnaire; content analysis and a portfolio. Yet it also shows that

teachers’ have not demonstrated the same mastery in classroom practice.

The research recommended using the portfolio technique as an evaluative

tool. It also recommends carrying out more research about the same topic.
