The current study aimed at evaluating environmental training programmes
within ISO- 14001 framework using the empirical approach.
The study sample included (32) trainees who participated in
environmental training programmes conducted by training centers in both
Iraq and Jordan. A questionnaire was used to collect data and information
which were analyzed using measures such as (percentages, means, standard
deviation and t- test).
The study results show that there are significant differences between
trainees’ evaluations of the training programmes before and after their
delivery, and that trainees’ awareness, and attitudes towards environmental
issues differed significantly accordingly.
