The concept “Organizational effectiveness” is regarded as one of the
contemporary concepts that provide an opportunity to evaluate and measure
the ability of management in organizations to carry out their missions,
objectives, and technical activities along with the performance level to
achieve their goals.
Depending on the relevant extended administrative literature review and
the results of many applied studies, the problem of the study has been identified
and two hypotheses have been developed. For this purpose, a questionnaire
was designed according to (Cameron: 1978) . Data were collected by
distributing the questionnaire to a sample of the study- Deans of the Colleges
of Administration and Economics and chiefs of scientific departments. A total
of (63) questionnaires were distributed from which (60) were received that
were suitable for analysis. After sorting and classifying the data by using the
(Spearman) coefficient correlation and variation for (Kruskal- Wallis) , the
data were processed.
The study concluded that the colleges maintain a positive relationship
with the dimensions of organizational effectiveness perceived by the study
sample (total Dimension) , and in seven dimensions from the eight dimensions
of organizational effectiveness researched (individually) . It is obvious that the
colleges’ performance level of organizational effectiveness was divergent in
five dimensions while convergent in three of them, which led to the emergence
of (5) colleges with an effective overall average level and (5) other colleges
below average.
