يتناول هذا البحث موضوع مشاهدة من احد الوالدين وهذا الموضوع يظهر مدى رعاية التشريعات الاسلامية لمصالح العباد النفسية والاجتماعية حيث يعالج قضية نشوء الصغير عند أحد الوالدين فيعطي الوالد الاّخر الحق في رؤية صغيره حتى لا يتأثر الصغير سلبياً بسبب غيابه، وحتى لا يتأثر الوالد أيضاً بسبب غيابه عن ابنه
وقد تطرق البحث الى تعريف الحضانة ومشروعيتها وحكمها وصاحب الحق فيها ومدتها حتى يفهم المقصود بحق المشاهدة لارتباطه بأحكام الحضانة.
