The Extent To Which International Quality Assurence are Availabile in the revised Social and National education Textbooks for 4th Grade Students at Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: from the perspective of Social Studies Teachers and Educational Supervisors

The purpose of the current study was to investigate Availability level of international quality standards in developed social and national education textbooks for 4th grade students at Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from social and national studies teachers and educational supervisors . The population of the study consisted of (124) teachers and educational supervisors was drawn from this population. The researcher developed a 2 section questionnaire to collect data. the first section of the questionnaire included demographic information about the sample while the second section included international quality standards.
Results of the study indicated that sample of the study reported moderate levels in the estimation degree. No significant differences ( α= 0.05) were found in estimation degrees. No significant differences ( α= 0.05) were found in the means scores of sample of the study on all domains concerning the availability degree of international quality standards in the developed social and national education textbooks due to educational level , except for objectives standards and content standards, and differences were between PhD holders means scores from one hand and less than BA and MA holders on the other, in favor of and less than BA and MA holders. In light of the results reported in the study, the researcher suggested some recommendations in including conducting future studies to identify the obstacles hindering the instruction of social studies and overcoming them.
