This research based on studying the calls of the day of Resurrection in the Quran through extrapolation of verses which include one of forms of appeals of the day of judgment and analyze them based on the objective explaining method.
It is known that the Quran call has a big importance. So it occupies a huge part the Holy Quran. However, what distinguished this research is that it explains one form of the different kinds of the Quran call, which was not discussed before independently or being tackled in a research or being the topic of a book. This research contributed in adding a new topic to the Quraniac objective studies.
The researcher shows that most surahs of the Quran which include the calls of the Day of Judgment are makkya surahs and the derivation of this topic in seven makkya surahs and one Madanya surah. The reason for this may be what the call contains of terrifying and intimidation images of this day and the reports of how much the issue is great. There is no doubt that the society in makkah is in need for this more than the society in Madina because most people in those days were denying of resurrection after death.
And through the study of calls of the day of judgment through the Quran we feel the main aim of Koran mentioning these calls is to encourage to multiply good deeds and get ready to Hereafter, and hold accountable ourselves before we are made accountable in the Doomsday.
