Abstract

The objective of this research is to detect the features of Abu Tammam’s poetry in terms of thorough meanings, abundant,   strange and philosophical meanings compared with Ibn Al-Qaysrani , to show the trend of imitation in his epics in which he simulates Abu Tammam as well as his poetry about the wars of the  Abbasids with The Romans . The research also tried to show how Ibn Al-Qaysrani was influenced by Abu Tammam through his poem " The Conquest of Amurium " and the extent of correlation and intertextuality  between them , besides aspects of agreement and disagreement between them and the image of the  acclaimed (Hero) to them , in addition to the technical and rhetorical aspects of the two poems . It is noteworthy that the study used an integrative approach
