Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the effect of using a blended learning strategy  on students' attitudes toward blended learning at Al-Quds Open University. To achieve this objective the two researchers designed a 42-item questionnaire to collect information about students’ attitudes toward the blended learning. The questionnaire was administered on a purposeful sample consisted of forty-two English language students at Al-Quds Open University in Nablus Branch  in the academic year 2013/2014. The data was collected, then, was analyzed using (SPSS) to answer the questions of the study. Means, frequencies, standard deviations, One-Way ANOVA and Two-Way ANOVA were used. The results showed that the total degree of students' responses towards blended learning scored a high level of attitudes. The results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at (α =0.05) on the attitudes of learners due to age and place of residence and to the interaction between them as well. In the light of the results, some recommendations were suggested.
