The importance of this study is that  no one wrote about this issue

This study aims to clear up an approach of Al-  Imam Al-Nawawy for hadith.

We study fourteen hadiths. Firstly, we started the study by an introduction about Al- Imam Al- Nawawy: (date and place of birth, life, teachers, students, books and death). Then, we gave a definition of his book of Altebian.

The empirical study contains three parts: correcting, improving, weakening).

Through this study, the researcher reaches an accuracy of Al- Nawawy’s judgments expect some concerned with few hadiths. This shows Al- Nawawy’s great ability in criticizing hadiths.

May Allah accepts this study in our good deeds on the day of resurrection. Our final prayer is that all praise be to Allah, the lord of the existence.
