The Separating Final Phrase (Faselah) in the Fasting Verses in the Holy Quran

This study aims at identifying the importance, types and definition of the separating final phrases(Faselah) and the reasons for their occurrences in the fasting verses of the holy Quran in the first chapter of the study. In the second chapter, The study explores the meaning of the verses in accordance with their context, and the aesthetic meaning of the verses, in addition to the hidden reasons for having separating final phrases(Faselah) in Quran, in a rhetorical interpretive approach to demonstrate the relation between separating final phrases and verses. In addition, the Study explores the extent of contribution of the separating final phrases to the cohesion of Quran text. The study concludes using the descriptive approach and the deductive approach that the separating final phrases have linguistic, rhetorical, psychological, and orienting meaning , it also add to the aesthetic aspect of the verse.Downloads
