This research is conducted on Ibn Hazm Al-Andalusi. He is Abu Muhammad Ali bin Ahmad bin Sa'ed bin Hazm Al-thaher Al-Andalusi. One of his most popular writings is his book (The Compilation of the Prophetic Biography). Ibn Hazm Al-Andalusi presents in his book a summarized text but comprehensive one about the upbringing and life of the prophet Muhammad (Pbuh), in addition to the prophet’s lineage, father, grandfathers, and companions, who helped him establish the religion. Moreover, Ibn Hazm Al-Andalusi presents in his book the battles, forays, wars, agreements, and treaties that happened during the time of the prophet. Ibn Hazm Al-Andalusi tried to avoid the diversity of narrations as well as oddities, and irregular quotations and narrations. He cites this splendid prophetic biography with a charming sequence and coherence and harmony, also with written chapters that complement each other. Therefore, the book is enjoyable to read and convincing. However, although the book is enriched with information, the researcher criticizes some of the points in the book. The researcher’s method of criticism is based on induction and the analytical methods , returning to the original resources; as the prophetic biography comes second in importance after The Holy Quran. The most important result of the study is that Al-Iman Ibn Hazm is witty , knowledgeable, and accurate regarding the narration of the biography and battles. He also added his own judgment on some of the battles and biographyDownloads
