The paper initially deals with the definition of intertextuality in brief, then moves to investigate the conditions of the poet’s time and the reasons, and motives behind the emergence of religious educations in his poetry. Finally, the paper analyzes various displays of religious intertextuality and application of religious texts. Moreover, Adapted, citation, and allusion intertextualities are the most prominent displays of religious intertextuality in his poetry.
