The Ability of the Moral Motivation and Judgment to Predict Moral Behavior among Yarmouk University Students

This study aims to investigate the ability of the moral motivation and judgment to predict moral behavior among Yarmouk University Students. To achieve the goal of the study, data were collected from (730) male and female students at Yarmouk University. A scale of behavior was developed for the purpose of this study, and the Janoff-Bulmman and Carners (2016) scale of moral motivation was applied, along with the scale of Al Taj and Al Smadi (2013) of the moral judgments. The results indicate to the high ability of moral motivation in explaining the moral behavior; the value of (T) test reached (22.57), while moral judgments showed less ability to predict moral behavior, with (T) test value equals (6.02).
