The appropriate methods for selecting the partner from the point of view of those who are willing to marry from the students of Al - Quds Open University in Jericho – Palestine

The study aims to know the appropriate methods of partner selection from the point of view of a sample from Al-Quds Open University – Jericho, whom are willing to marry in the light of some variables (sex, place of living, age, and faculty). The researcher used the descriptive method. The study sample consisted of (186) male and female students. The sample were chosen by random selection, the tool of appropriate methods of partner selection was used, which was prepared by the researcher; it contains (5) parts.
The study results showed that the appropriate methods of partner selection came with high level, the mean of total score was (3.64) over all parts, except for the financial part which was medium, and the religious part was the highest one. The study also showed that there is no significant difference between the means of the responses according to the sex, and the place of living. The study results showed that there is significant difference between the means of the sample response according to the age in the total means of the tool.
