The research aimed at highlighting the phenomenon of semantic mastery and coherence of the Quran’s unique words according to the discussion on the Holy Quran. This phenomenon reflects the Quran’s rhetoric miracle of its style of speech. The study also aims at exploring the meaning of these words in the Quran. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method to explore the semantic coherence of the unique words, illustrating their semantic mastery though their context, as well as to reveal their linguistic and rehitoric treasures and their meaning in Quran.
The results of the research have led to the emergence of a theory on the unique words of the Holy Quran. It was revealed that the unique words have semantic coherence in their context and significance to the purposes of Qur’an. The phenomenon of the semantic and structural coherence of the Quran unique words is related to the relation between the successive structure of the verses, in which these words are mentioned, and the suitability of the unique word phonetically and semantically, the context, as well as the purpose of the Qur’an and the verse. These relations gave the word its uniqueness, especially in terms of semantics.
The research recommended the need for further studies on the phenomenon of semantic coherence of the Quran’s unique words, mentioned in other areas, and for reading and reflecting upon Quran and its schools of thought in an innovative perspective, to understand it and reveal its treasures.
