Temperature Dependence of Electrical Properties of Epoxy- Glass
Keywords:
Temperature Dependence, Electrical Properties, Epoxy- GlassAbstract
This study is concerned with the temperature dependence of some electrical
properties of epoxy-glass microballoons composite containing 0, 15, 35,
and 55% by weight glass microballoons. The temperature was varied from 20
oC to 125 oC at frequencies 100Hz and 10 KHz. It was found that the calculated
dielectric constant showed a strong dependence on temperature above
80 oC . Two maxima occurred in the dielectric loss as a function of temperature
plot. The low temperature peak around 50 oC was assigned to the (- relaxation
process, and the high temperature peak began to appear above 80 oC
to the (- relaxation process.
