This research deals with an analytical study on “Mosques in the Qur’anic term” based on the objective interpretation approach.
is to reveal the meaning of the Holy Qur’an’s use of the word (mosque), and the words that are synonymous with it and used in the meaning of (mosque) in the Holy Qur’an, and to study them and deduce and gestures from them.
The most important results reached by the study: The term “mosque” in the Holy Qur’an means the place designated by Muslims for the worship of God, and the only synonym for it in the Qur’an is sometimes the term “house.” The two mosques mentioned in the Holy Qur’an by name are: the Grand Mosque and Al-Aqsa Mosque only.
Among the conclusions reached by the researcher: he discovered the extent of the greatness of mosques in the Holy Qur’an, as God did not attribute them to any pronoun when speaking about them.
