Manifestations of the thought of Al-Gazali in the writings of Al-Kaylani A comparing between the books "Thus Appeared the Generation of Salah Al-Din and Thus Returned Jerusalem" and "Revival of the Religious Sciences"

Objective: The current study aimed to investigate the percentage indicating the influence of the Muslim educational thinker Majid al-Kaylani by the thinker al-Gazali.
Methods: using a descriptive-analytical approach. The sample included al-Gazali's Revival of Religious Sciences and Thus Appeared the Generation of Salah al-Din and Thus Returned Jerusalem. To achieve the study's objectives, a content analysis card was designed with 4 dimensions and 60 items: religious principles, educational and teaching methods, targeted learner's personality, and educational topics. It was then applied to the content of the two mentioned books.
Results: This study concluded that the thinker al-Kaylani was influenced by the thinker al-Gazali in all four dimensions at rates ranging between high and very high.
Recommendations: The study concluded with proposals and recommendations, the most important of which is the call to conducting descriptive-analytical studies of the ideas and writings of the thinker al- Kaylani, comparing them with the writings of other thinkers, and benefiting from his innovative thinking in developing educational curricula.
Conclusions: The Islamic educational thinker al-Kaylani was influenced by the thinker al-Gazali in many dimensions of the educational aspect, which is evident in his works.
