Some Selective Anthropometric and Fitness Measurements and the Relation between them among First Class Soccer Clubs Players in the Northern Districts of Palestine

This study aims at having an idea about some selective anthropometric
and fitness measurements and the relation between them in regard to the
first class soccer clubs players in the northern districts of Palestine, besides
specifying the differences between these measurements in accordance with
club variable.
To achieve these objectives a study was a conducted on (90) players. The
results revealed a significant correlation between speed and age, weight,
upper body length, arm length, lower body length, and chest circumstances.
In addition, the results revealed a significant correlation between
endurance and age, weight, and length of lower body, and upper body.
Based on the study findings, the researcher recommends that increased
attention is to be paid to anthropometric parameters in players’ selection
and arranging physical training programs and norms of these parameters.
