Civil Conflict in the Syrian Crisis: Dynamics, Controls and Manifestations

Abstract

Syrian crisis is a deep political and social crisis. It is a popular

movement transformed into a military confrontation erupted between

government on the one hand, and armed opposition groups and terrorist

organizations “jihad”, on the other hand. Due to foreign interventions

and military support to different sides, the Syrian Arab Republic soaked

in violence, and there is risked of civil war. This study analyzes the causes

of the conflict, dynamics driving toward civil war and draws scenarios for

this conflict.
