The Impact of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Performance Orientation of Jordanian Telecommunication Companies from Employees Perspective

This research aimed at investigating the level of organizational citizenship behavior and its relationship and impact on performance orientation of Jordanian telecommunication companies. , and investigate the influence of demographical features with respect to organizational citizenship behavior on performance Orientation. The impact of organizational and background characteristics of employees on both organizational citizenship and performance orientation is explicated. Findings revealed a high level of both organizational citizenship behavior and performance orientation. Level of organizational citizenship behavior varies significantly with respect to gender, age, job title, and experience in the current job. Level of performance orientation varies significantly with respect to to gender, educational level, area of specialty, and job rank. Results showed a positive and strong connection between level of organizational citizenship and level of performance orientation A strong positive relationship was uncovered. Evidence of strong positive impact of various organizational citizenship behavior dimensions over performance orientation has been provided. Certain measures should be taken to reinforce organizational citizenship behavior and build positives ties among employees.
