Abstract

This study examines the interaction of religious texts of Quran, Old

Testament, and New Testament with modern poetic texts particularly in the

poetry of Amal Dongol. Sometimes this interaction is manifested through

direct quotes, sometimes through circumlocution, and sometimes through

intertextuality. This occurs either by using the symbol partially or wholly in

the poem .
