The Level of Practice of Directorates of Social Affairs Managers in Palestine for Human Relations Skills in Management from Social Workers› Perspective

The aim of this study is to recognize the level of human relations
skills practiced by the administrators of social affairs directorates in
Palestine from social workers' perspective and the relation of that with
gender, work experience and education qualifications.To achieve the
goals, the researcher developed a measuring tool to measure them after
assuring the validity and reliability of my tool, and then I applied it
on the study population which represents all social work counselors
at the directorates of social affairs in northern West Bank.The results
showed that the total degree among administrators is high of (3.88)
.The hypotheses testing results showed insignificant differences with
reference to variables such as gender, working experiences and work
qualifications.In the light of the findings, the researcher recommends
the need for practicing human relations skills among the assigned
administrators and giving more time for communication skills.It is
important to implement rewarding and incentives systems for uplifting
of morale of social counselors.
