Abstract

Since its establishment, The Zionist Movement focused on looting

Palestine and Judaize the land, culture and economy. This Movement used

every means to expel the Palestinians from their land, and they tried to

have a powerful economy because this is one of the pillars to establish a

Zionist state. Thus they developed agriculture, industry, trading and services

sector alike. Industry had been affected by several factors both internal and

external, and Zionists utilized these to develop industry and used it as a tool

to replace Arabs. Its development was influenced by political, security and

military factors.

The Zionists took every opportunity to expel the Palestinians and

exploited any event to fulfill their aims.

Many wrote about the political situation in Palestine between 1918-

1948 but few wrote about the economic situation. Thus we tried through this

paper to write about that era during British mandate.
