Abstract

Allah (God) ordered all Muslims to read His Book and act according to its content. For this purpose, Allah created all the reasons to help the recitation of the Quran, thus it was revealed on various ways to be recited. This is part of Allah’s help to Muslims who could not read or was difficult for him to read the Quran using Quraish’s dialect. The researcher studies the various models of the ten Quranic recitations, and he chooses the phenomenon of slurring as a model for the diversification of performative in consonants and tilt in vowels and the pronunciation associated with these models through various examples from the Quran. The researcher concluded that the intent of permitting people to recite the Quran in different ways is to facilitate its reading.
