Several sciences studies had been flourished after the Islamic conquest of
Jerusalem, particularly those related to the Quran and prophet Mohammad›s
(PBUH) Sunnah.
The era of the subject under study had witnessed a significant progress
in the field of Quranic scientific studies and the prophet›s Hadith along with
the arrival of many important religious readers, scholars and narrators of
the Hadith to Jerusalem, which is the first destination of prayers for Muslims.
This study is about the progress Jerusalem witnessed in the
development of the two important scientific studies by scholars from
Jerusalem and those who were coming from outside seeking knowledge.
In this study, scientific studies of the will be discussed with reference to
its scholars and narrators.
