This research aims at the study of the metaphorical and simile images in
the poetry of Imam Al ≠ Shafi. It also aims at the study of the poet‘s ability in
utilizing this image to transfer his feelings and passions. The poet has made
the human life a general domain of his poetic. address domains . He has
shown great care for Man to the extent that he has made him appear in front
of his eyes to advice him to fear God regardless of the time he lives in. The
Islamic morals and values as well as the human relation has formed the
pivot of the poet‘s vision.
