This research studies Mohammed Saeed Alkahrabgi’s poetry.
It comes to the conclusion that it keeps the traditional meaning of
lamentation. He colored his laments in a way that expresses the political
and social issues of his era. His laments changed from crying and wailing
to agitate the hearts.
His laments adopted a new artistic technique such as antagonism. He
used a simple language and his poems keep an appropriate rhythm. His
poetic images are intensive and deal with different sources, and his poems
follow the traditional beginning.
