Abstract

The domestic violence depends on the principle of deferential forces, and

it often concentrates on the weak sides of the society like woman and children.

The violence isn’t accepted by Islam or by law because it is a subversive act

which is motivated by revenge or anger, and it doesn’t have any acceptable

standards.

Recently, a number of psychologists tried to know its motivations. Some

believe that it has biological and others psychological reasons caused by the

inner feelings of frustration. The violence may be physical such as slapping

or psychological such as cursing and insulting.

Islam absolutely refuses all kinds of domestic violence.
