Abstract

This study is about the motivations behind the formation of despotism

in the light of the Quranic stories. The researcher studied the Holy Quran

and finds that one may easily understand these motivations. Dictators always

tried to impose their ideas and exercise pressure on thinkers by using money,

exiling reformers and marginalizing their roles, or, even, killing them.
