The Sadness Phenomenon in «Em Massaan Ayha Elrajul Al Gareeb» (Good Evening Stranger) for Syrian Poet Taleb Hammash`s

This study shows the sadness phenomenon in one of the Syrian poet
Taleb Hammash’s poetry book called “Em Massaan Ayha Elrajul Al
Gareeb” (Good Evening Stranger) .
The searcher noticed that sadness tone was clearly dominant in
this poetry book as an example to this phenomenon. So this study aims
to explain this phenomenon and search about its reasons and results
by dividing the research in two parts: first, sadness motives. These are
forms in seven motives: alienation, departure of loved ones, the loss of
life, hopelessness, nostalgic memories and death. Second, classifies the
mechanisms of describing sadness in his poems which are: repetition,
heritage placement, autism with sad creatures, safety denial, poetic image
and poems titles placement.
This study does not aim to follow the technical construction or the
atheistic composition in the divan but aim to guess the sadness motives
and its mechanisms expression, so it used the content analysis to fulfill its
goals.
