Abstract

 

The aim of the study “The Differences of Self efficacy Among Hearing

Impairment Students at Yarmouk University in a JordanianSample” is to

light variables gender and hearing impairment severity.Sample of the study

consisted of (57) students, “28 male, and 29 female” selected using purposeful

sampling from Yarmouk University students.To collect data, Self efficacy

measure was used.Results of the study indicated that levels of self- efficacy

among hearing impairment students was moderate.Significant differences

were found in levels of self- efficacy due to severity of impairment, in favor

of simple hearing impaired students, while no significant differences were

found due to gender.In light of these results, the study recommends university

personnel to provide more care for these students in order to enable them

face their future and encounters difficulties based on their abilities.Future

research investigating other variables and other students’ population is

needed.
