This paper deals with two main topics: Firstly, it studies the evolution of the Palestinian reform process. The early phases witnessed the growing local and international pressures calling for urgent and comprehensive reform. This was followed by initial reform attempts by the PA, but such attempts were rather limited and insufficienttofacethechallenges. Thesecondtopicexamines the mechanisms of reform to fightadministrative,financial,andeconomic corruption in the PA. from the perspectives of the ordinary Palestinians. The study has reached several recommendations in this regard.
This included the establishment of a special agencey to fightcorruptionin the public, civil and private institutions, and the establishment of special courts to deal with corruption.
