Personality and Its Relation to Organizational Affiliation among Private Schools Teachers in Nablus

This study aimed at determining the level of teachers’ organizational allegiance who work at private school teachers in the city of Nablus and their personal attributes as well. The study also tried to identify the impact of various variables such as: gender, years of experience, fieldofspecialization,educational level and age on teachers’ organizational allegiance and their personal attributes. The relation between teachers’ allegiance and personal attributes was also investigated.
The study sample consisted of (154) teachers (males and females). A questionnaire was designed for the purpose of collecting the data and answering the study questions. It consisted of (72) items. The data was analyzed and different tests were used such as t-test, ANOVA, scheffe test, and correlation factor (Pearson). It was concluded that there is a positive relationship between teachers’ organizational allegiance and their personal attributes. It was also concluded that there are no significantdifferencesinthelevelofteachers’organizational attributes in favor of experience, fieldofspecializationandageand there are significantdifferencesinfavorofgenderandeducationallevel.It was also concluded that there are no significantdifferencesinpersonalattributes in favor of gender, experience, age and fieldofspecialization,andthere are significantdifferencesinfavorofeducationallevel
